■Kanshuku
The Kanshuku are just like hostels in that they are the best budget accommodation deals, in that most facilities are to be shared. However, Kanshuku welcome guests in a very much Japanese way. Almost all the rooms are Japanese style tatami-mat single rooms. Small but clean and comfortable. You don't sleep in a bunk or you don't share the room with strangers. You sleep in a room just for yourself, relaxed in Japanese style futon-bedding.
■Business Hotels
If you are in Tokyo for business, the Business Hotels, neatly designed Western style budget hotels on the list help you make your trip a fruitful one. They are conveniently located in the central Tokyo area.
